Where are the libraries located?

The thirteen main college campuses that comprise the university all have library facilities. Friendly and professional staff are available to help you with general queries, finding suitable resources, provide advice on research skills and help you with referencing.

If the assistance you require isn't available in the library, the staff will usually be able to tell you who to speak to instead, they are always happy to help!

The contact detail and opening times for each library are available at:

What about IT help?

If you are having problems accessing a resource or using your device in the library, speak to the local library staff to see if they can help. For more complicated or technical queries they may ask you to register a call with the Servicedesk.

There are also IT support pages on the university website, including the following information:

  • New cloud storage for students. Save and backup your files to Microsoft Onedrive so you can access them at home, university or on the move.
  • How to setup your student email account on your phone or tablet.
  • How to download a free version of Microsoft Office that you can use at home for the duration of your course.
  • Details of new services and any that may not be working.
  • How to log a call with helpdesk.

What is the Red Button?

If you experience difficulties with an area of the library service and aren't sure how to reach a satisfactory conclusion, you might want to push the red button to provide the university with feedback on your experiences. Along with problems, you can also use the form to pass on compliments and suggestions. Further details are on the website at:
