UHI Shetland Library

Study

Study

The UHI Shetland libraries offer a quiet study area with access to computers, a printer and spaces to work if you have brought your own laptop or device.  Wi-Fi is available throughout the UHI Shetland for students, staff and visitors.  Please ask us for help if you have any problems with access on your device.

Group Work

Group work

A small, bookable group work space is available in the Library at the Lerwick Campus.  The space has a computer attached to a wall mounted screen - ideal for practicing presentations, a large desk for group work and three individual study spaces.  The space can be booked in advance for small groups who want to work together or for anyone who wants to study individually.  Contact library.shetland@uhi.ac.uk.

Printing, copying and scanning

Printing, copying and scanning

The computers in the Scalloway Library are linked to a printer.  In the interest of sustainability we ask that you use the print facilities sparingly and use them for your course purposes only.

Photocopying and scanning functions, at the Lerwick campus Library, are controlled by a password.

Please ask library staff if you need to make any copies, or scan materials.
