The UHI Shetland libraries offer a quiet study area with access to computers, a printer and spaces to work if you have brought your own laptop or device. Wi-Fi is available throughout the UHI Shetland for students, staff and visitors. Please ask us for help if you have any problems with access on your device.
A small, bookable room is available for individual study, or group work, in the Library at the Lerwick Campus. The space has a computer attached to a wall mounted screen - ideal for practicing presentations, a large desk for group work and two individual study spaces. The space can be booked in advance for small groups who want to work together or for anyone who wants to study individually. Contact library.shetland@uhi.ac.uk.
There is networked printing facilities available at both campuses.
There is a printer situated in the Lerwick Library, and one just outside the Library door at the Scalloway campus. The printer can also be used for photocopying and scanning (to email or onedrive).
In the interest of sustainability we ask that you use the print facilities sparingly and use them for your course purposes only.
