Referencing, and RefWorks and EndNote

An overview of the UHI Harvard referencing system, and the RefWorks and EndNote reference management tools

What is EndNote?

EndNote is a reference management tool that is approved by the University for students and staff to use.  There are two versions of it, EndNote Basic (set on the internet like RefWorks) and the full software version of EndNote.

EndNote Basic can be found via the Web of Science subscription A-Z Online Collections (uhi.ac.uk)  .  When logged in to Web of Science look for the word 'Products' on the top right of the page and click on that link.  You will see 'EndNote' listed second from the bottom,

EndNote Software is also available.  Staff and students with UHI provided computers can obtain EndNote from the Company Portal :

EndNote Software can also be found via this page where you will need to download EndNote 20.  You will require site license information in the form of a Serial Number and a Product Key.  This information can be obtained from your college librarian.
