General information

  • Developed by Clarivate Analytics – company behind Web of Science (a current University subscription)
  • Currently (21.05.2021) still showing as a Kopernio link on the Web of Science home page
  • More information about it can be found here
  • However, it doesn’t require Web of Science subscription to work
  • Searches across at least 20,000 websites – including Google Scholar; PubMed
  • Utilises Unpaywall data
  • Need to register a personal account (any valid eMail address) to use it – either choose a university or register without a university affiliation
  • If users already have a Kopernio account they should use the same details to log into EndNote Click
  • Allows document PDF’s to be stored in the account

•Searches automatically
•There is a Quick search facility in the browser extension

         which defaults to search Google Scholar
