Nursing and affiliated health sciences resources for the students and staff of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery who are located in the Western Isles are housed at the UHI North, West and Hebrides (Stornoway) Library.
This is on the Lews Castle grounds.
It is an academic library, supporting the students and staff of the University of the Highlands and Islands with their education, training and research needs. This part of the collection in the library is curated and maintained specifically to support the curriculum of the University's Department of Nursing and Midwifery.
Facilities - study spaces (individual and group), silent study room (no booking required). Computers are also available plus WiFi access (via EduRoam) for bring your own devices.
User education - assist students and staff in using the Library facilities, resources and services.
Collaboration - work with other UHI partners libraries.
