The ICT HelpDesk is located in the LRC.  ICT staff are available at the HelpDesk from 8.30am - 4.30pm.  Outside of those hours, please raise a UniDesk call.

There are two printers - one on the Second Floor Atrium just before the LRC entrance, and the other at the back of the Library. 

Unless your lecturer has arranged for print credit to be added to your account, you will have to pay for your printing.  Printing starts at 4p - please ask the Library team for further information regarding printing costs.

Print credit can be added to your account at the Library issue desk.  You can pay with cash, card or Google/Apple Pay.   You can also top-up your account online.   Go to the UHI Print tile on MyDay, then Add Print Credit.  

If you are using your own laptop, you may need to download the PaperCut print management app first.  Each time you send a document to the printer, PaperCut will ask you to login with your student ID and password.

The printers can also scan and copy for you.

The LRC Nooks are self-contained study pods, which allow you to take part in an online class without disturbing others.

The LRC has twelve Nooks (plus a wheelchair accessible version with a height-adjustable table). There is no need to book - if a Nook is vacant, you can use it. 

Each Nook has adjustable lighting and ventilation, a power socket and USB connection.

Hand sanitiser and wipes are available for you before and after use, and we ask that you do not bring food into the Nook.  Please leave the Nook tidy for the next user.  If there are any issues with a Nook, please inform a member of the Library team.
