Greetings from the Library Team.
The team at the Highland Health Sciences Library are specialists in a wide range of remote and rural support. The Library is based at the Centre for Health Sciences on the Raigmore Hospital site, but covers the whole NHS Highland area.
It supports a wide range of health care and academic activities. The friendly team of three (Rob, Chris and Nell) use a wide range of tools to minimise distance, so no matter where in the region you are based it is easy to get in touch.

The Library is constantly exploring with other remote and rural librarians globally how to best serve users and has contacts in Newfoundland, Australia and India. Learning and information support is provided to you the throughout your career. Working closely with the Universities eg contributing to course development the Library team have personal knowledge of course requirements. The team also have extensive knowledge of NHS Highland and who is working on what making them an excellent source of connections.
The Library team also work extensively with other support organisations within NHS Scotland including NHS Education Scotland.
