BrowZine is a new journal platform where you can browse, read, and monitor the online journals that are available from the university library. It can be accessed on the web or you can download the app to your mobile device (see right). With BrowZine, you can:
Browzine do not provide the actual journal content to the university, they simply present the journals in an easy to use platform.
There is also a great app for Browzine. Simply search for "Browzine" in the app store or access the following link on your chosen device. The app is optimised for mobile and tablet devices and is FREE to download from iTunes, Google Play or Kindle store. Once you've installed the app on your device:
While Browzine does not include all university library journals, titles from the main publishers are accessible, including Cambridge, Elsevier, IEEE, Nature, Oxford, Sage, Springer,Taylor and Francis and Wiley. Browzine continue to add new content on a regular basis. The Browzine service only goes back to 2005. The same content, plus older content is also available in the Online Journals A-Z.
|Articles from 2005 to present||Articles prior to 2005|
|Online Journals A-Z||Yes||Yes|
* However, if you try to access pre-2005 content in Browzine, it will automatically link to the Online Journals platform instead. Click "View all back issues and sources for this title".
Browzine is not a replacement for in-depth research and searching of specific databases. Comprehensive searching should involve Library Search and the wide range of electronic collections available to all university staff and students. Contact your library if you are unsure.
